While we are generally looking for a talented former lawyer with recruiting or sales experience, we will also consider current lawyers that are looking for a new career path, who are adaptable, eager to learn new skills, and enthusiastic about developing attorney's careers and supporting the client sales cycle.
As the FLEX Manager, you'll:
- Help define and execute an attorney recruitment and client marketing plan,
- Support the internal team with “sales” activities,
- Manage attorneys that are "in the field" and deliver feedback to the attorneys,
- Coordinate professional development training and networking events, and
- Participate in other activities related to the growth of the FLEX business.
Experience Requirements:
- must have a JD and at least 7+ years of experience as a transactional (preferably licensing/commercial transactions) lawyer,
- currently work at, or are an alum, of a top Silicon Valley law firm,
- have experience selling a product or service,
- preferably also have experience either in recruiting or project management,
- willing to commute to both the Mountain View and SF offices of Fenwick, as well as travel throughout the Bay Area to meet with clients and attorneys, and
- are undaunted by start-up chaos, comfortable working in a shared space, and excited to work as part of a small entrepreneurial team!
